Judith Frehner
was born and raised in Switzerland and educated in England.
A translator and Art Historian by trade, Judith worked for an international
Gallery in Basel for a number of years — then ventured into the accomodation
business in 1998 by opening a Bed and Breakfast close to the Messe Basel.
It soon became increasingly difficult to meet the demands for affordable
accomodation during the big fairs. In 2004, Judith founded the House and
Food Company together with her partner Nils Mannerstedt - a chef and
caterer - providing the best of houses and foods available in Basel.
The House and Food Company can count a number of highly acclaimed
companies as their regular clients.
